Bilona ghee is made using the traditional bilona method, where curd is churned slowly to extract butter, which is then heated to get pure golden ghee. This process preserves nutrients and gives a rich aroma. Unlike regular ghee, which may be machine-made, Bilona Cow Ghee or A2 Desi Cow Ghee is more wholesome, digestible, and retains maximum health benefits as per Ayurveda.

Yes, Moomor ghee is 100% pure, free from any preservatives, colors, or additives. We only use A2 Cow Milk, especially from Gir Cow and other indigenous breeds, to make our A2 Desi Ghee. This ensures natural taste, high nutrition, and authenticity compared to mass-produced brands.

The Bilona process is labor-intensive and requires a large quantity of A2 Gir Cow Milk to produce a small amount of A2 Ghee. For example, nearly 25–30 liters of milk are needed to make 1 liter of A2 Gir Cow Ghee. This traditional method, combined with the health benefits of A2 Desi Cow Ghee, makes it premium and more expensive compared to machine-made ghee brands like Barosi, Kapiva, Rosier A2 Ghee, or Shuddham Ghee.

Moomor Ghee has a shelf life of 1 year if stored properly. Keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. There is no need for refrigeration. Like other pure ghee brands such as Anveshan Ghee, Jivika Cow Ghee, or Vedic Ghee, our product remains fresh due to its natural preparation method. Always use a clean, dry spoon to ensure long-lasting quality.
